ABOUT ME
Expanding the horizons
I'm a dedicated language instructor of Russian and ESL. Originally, I'm from an industrial city in Siberia called Novokuznetsk. I graduated with distinction from Novosibirsk State Pedagogical University, double-majoring in teaching English and French.
I first came to the University of Mississippi as a Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA) in 2017 and then graduated with a Master's degree in Applied Linguistics and TESOL in 2020. In 2025, I earned my Ph.D. in Second Language Studies with an emphasis in Applied Linguistics at the University of Mississippi.

I’ve always found joy in learning. However, it wasn’t until I started teaching that I realized just how much I enjoyed sharing my skills and knowledge with students of all ages and backgrounds.
In each course I teach, I work hard to create engaging, eye-opening, and challenging activities - ones that will help my students expand their horizons and push their boundaries. I appreciate my students’ feedback and welcome an open dialogue in each and every class. Get in touch for more information about my experience or the courses I teach.
